Trunk Moving Company is always searching for qualified people to work for us on a full-time or part-time basis. While new employees generally start out as movers, we offer other full-time opportunities as well. As movers gain experience, they may be promoted to crew leaders, a job that entails managing large moves, overseeing long-distance moves, and interacting with customers and employees on a daily basis- all with minimal supervision. Trunk Moving also offers special training for employees who are interested in joining our full-time management team.

To qualify for a position with our company, you must have a great attitude, be physically fit, and possess a safe driving record. Beyond that, we do the rest through a comprehensive training program that prepares you to be a safe and responsible mover.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support our culture and values
  • Build strong customer relationships
  • Carry heavy items long distances and up and down stairs
  • Pack typical household or office items and prepare furniture and equipment
  • Disassemble and reassemble furniture items
  • Load, unload, or stack containers, material, or products
  • Use hand or power tools

Job Requirements, Required Education and Experience

  • Command of English language is required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • We actively recruit college educated individuals to work as movers
  • Individuals with a Class B Driver’s License preferred but not required
  • No prior moving experience is required

All applicants should have a history of providing exceptional customer service and enjoy working in a fast paced environment while leading less experienced crew members. We offer competitive pay and a competitive benefits package.
